No Insurance Company Updates Processed April 26-May 7
The Oregon Insurance Division will begin using the NAICs State Based Systems as our internal operating system on May 7. In order to implement this new system, we need to freeze existing information and implement the conversion. Therefore, from April 26 through May 7 we will be unable to add any new insurance companies, risk retention groups, medical discount organizations or life settlement providers.
We also will be unable to enter insurance company updates such as changes to lines of authority, address changes or changes to registered agent information. However Financial Regulation staff will be available to answer questions. We expect to resume normal processing on May 7.
